June's News
Hello readers! And welcome to the June edition of WHAT'S CIRCLING CELINE! Your only source for all the news and happenings in Celine & The Realm!
As promised, this month I will be revealing the official sigils of The Realm. What's a sigil, you ask? A sigil is an official seal or symbol that represents a faction. Some sigils were considered magical, too!
In The Realm, each faction is represented by their own sigil. These are found on their armor, as well on banners during State functions, and flown over the encampments during battles.
For the reveal, I've decided to feature the four main sigils from PHOENIX RISING. Where are they found in the book? Oh... in one more month, you'll see! (Good try, though!) So here they are:
Seatha of the Lilac Clan
The sigil of SEATHA, and of all the fae of the LILAC CLAN.
The Lilac Clan is well noted throughout the history of The Realm for their battle skills, as represented by the sword. Lilac's grow from the hilt of the weapon to display how strongly the clan focuses on helping those they serve and their attitude of never giving up is the cause is just.
The Covens
Though there may be covens scattered all around The Realm, they all share in the same sigil.
Depicted is The Goddess holding the three stages of life- Maiden, Mother, and Crone, high over her shoulders.
The Covens only practice white, or good, magicks. As they normally practice magicks during battles for a distance, their sigil is embroidered inside the ceremonial capes they were while casting spells or enchantments.
The Royal Sigil of Celine
The sigil of Celine, seat to all of The Realm, bears a crescent moon on a field of stars. This has been the symbol of Celine and her rulers since The Realm became a monarchy.
King Edwyn of Celine, as well as his two sons, Prince Luc & Prince Michel, have armor bearing the seal. The crowns they wear are a set of looping vines with the crescent moon adorning the center above the brow.
The Princes are fond of motorcycles, and as such, the royal sigil has been airbrushed by the finest fae artists to adorn their helmets.

The Henning Family Sigil
It has been ten long years since the Henning Family sigil has flown over the battle tents or been carried proudly on banners through the castle of Celine. Now, with Maggie Henning learning of her true identity, and of the plan destiny has set out for her, the sigil can fly again once more.
The sigil depicts a Phoenix, it's wings outstretched to the sky and rising from the fires that formed them so many centuries ago. Not only is this sigil found on the Henning Family crest, but it is also emblazoned on the custom made armor for the family.
